ARTISTS RESET PROGRAM
new for the 2021 season
Come unplug in nature and reignite your creative spark.
If you're an artist stuck in a rut with your creative process, we would like to help you reset your mind for new inspiration. Scientists believe that being in nature can 'calm the brain' and inspire creativity. The more you get away from daily stressors and spend time in nature, the greater your level of imagination.
Our Artists Reset Program provides a free 3-night stay to creatives who need a quiet space to reconnect with their artistic nature. The Riverwood Camper is open to one artist each month from April to September every year.

Additional Information
Artists will be notified within two weeks of submission, if accepted. If you do not hear from us, within that time, your application could not be accepted this year. Please reapply next year.

We consider many artists for the reset program including, photographers, writers, poets, musicians (drummers can only bring practice pad), illustrators, cartoonists, fashion designers, interior designers and jewelry makers. Note: painters (oil, acrylic, watercolor) can only work outside of camper with paints due to the small space. Painters are welcome to use sketch pads inside to work on ideas for future paintings.

The program includes private use of camper and the outdoor seating area with grill and fire pit. We provide bed linens, blankets, bath towels, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), pots, pans, dishes, cups, silverware and a few cooking basics, including salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, bottled water and some snacks. Free private parking included.

Artists are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Riverwood Camper.
Note: We live on the property and have two other short term rentals there as well. However, all our short term rental guests are ask to give privacy to artists in the Artists Reset Program.

Artists must follow house rules during their 3-day stay. Read house rules here.
